My husband and I flew into Savannah for a three day vacation and we decided to book this hotel due to the convenience of everything so close. If I could give this hotel a 10 I would! We were in walking distance of everything! Literally, River Street is right outside your door. If you are planning a trip to Savannah, I highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast is free and it is very good! In the three day's we were there, we did alot and had no car since we flew in. Dont skip out on this hotel! Stay here and enjoy your trip to beautiful Savannah like we did!!

The only good thing about this hotel is that it is right in the middle of downtown. The hotel itself is terrible. The rooms are not clean, dirty floors, bathroom, walls. The furniture is broken, doors missing handles, shower barely has any water coming out. Limited towels and toilet paper, the manager of this hotel is in desperate need of customer service training. She was rude. And the hotel itself needs to be cleaned properly.. what a health hazard.

Nice stay, but noisy street and next door room.
Savannah is a good city to visit. The hotel was in a good location and the breakfast was fair to good compared to similar hotels. The big complaint was the street noise and the thin walls such we could hear the exact conversation of the next door room...at 530 am. Ugh.

All areas of the property were clean. Our room was nice and clean. The lobby and dining area were kept very neat and clean looked like the place had been recently renovated. All the staff were friendly and helpful. They had a concierge who was extremely pleasant and helpful. My only complaint is that we had breakfast at the hotel four mornings and each morning when we got there they were out of eggs and we would have to wait roughly 15 to 20 minutes for them to replace them. I would understand if this happens one morning, but four mornings in a row was not acceptable. Kitchen staff should have been more on the ball.

Definitely an older property. Accommodations were adequate. Drains in our shower and sink VERY slow. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. The gem was Mary, the concierge. She was spot on with her recommendations for sights, transport, and dining. Make use of her services because she knows her stuff.

The ceiling in the bathroom had water stains and the room smelled musty. So dissatisfied with the price of parking ($33 a day) the room ended up costing $200 a night with the fees. The outside sidewalks need to be power washed.

Pros: location and clean. Super nice staff replaced refrigerator immediately. Cons: loud outside (should have known better) no vent fan in bathrooms Bathroom French doors did not lock and the light was on the outside of the bathroom which meant disturbing others at night.

The location & staff were exceptional. While my room was pristine clean the building itself was worn. My room was adjoining another room w a space under the door & those people were smokers which made for smoky conditions 🙁
