Room had no heat on the coldest day of the year -30 . Staff came quickly to room got the air running said it would take about 25 mins to warm uo. So i left for 40 mins as it was too cold to stay in the room. When i came back it was still freezing i felt the air coming from the vent it was cold. So i called front desk again thats when they offered me a heater that i had to go pick up and set up. Went out had to get a second heater. Room was still way to cold so i left again while waiting for it to heat up come back few hours later this time room still freezing and both heaters now not working. At this point i had enough packed my stuff went to front desk (it 1130pm - 12am at this point) told them i was leaving it was to cold to sleep in the room. Thats when they finally offered to switch room) but i was too upset that i paid for a room that i couldnt stay in all day they could have offered me a new when when this issue first came to light. Now im trying to get my money back and im told there is no guarantee ill get it bc the room was non refundable and in a contract. What id like to know is dont they have a contract they have to follow when it comes to room quality. It was so cold i had a winter coat on the whole time. I may a well have just slept in my car it would have been warmer. Also to make me get my own heater and hook them up myself just for them to stop working and then offer. To change my room 9 or 10 hours later when it late and i had enough. Complete bs.
