This property cost me $150 for one night and our room smelled like pot and it was filthy. I thought about buying post-it notes to mark all the areas for the cleaning people (like the booger stuck to the wall below the light switch). Apparently all the price of all hotels in the area were super inflated because FEMA was in town because of the hurricanes a month ago or so. This should have been a $40 room.

Pubic hair, sticky floors and urine oh my!
We booked this for 1 night and just needed a place to sleep so we didn’t want to spend a lot. Wished we would have spent the extra money and stayed elsewhere. The floors were dirty and super sticky. There were small curly hairs in the sink, thinking from the bottom half of someone. There was a wad of gum with other things in it on the floor next to the bed. My husband walked around the room with his socks on and his socks looked like he walked around outside for a mile. Absolutely disgusting. The door knob going into the room was sticky. The toilet seat had urine on it and streaks of feces. PAY THE EXTRA MONEY AND STAY ELSEWHERE.

They suck.
I specifically requested a first floor room several months ago when booked the stay. Explained husband is on oxygen and cannot climb stairs or walk far. They put us in a 2nd floor room some distance from the elevator. Then, required IDs on all 3 of us. Have NEVER been asked that. THEN they couldnt run my card because the card machine wasnt working. We stayed elsewhere. Had my handicapped husband in tears. We have stayed in lots of Motel 6's, and this one twice before, and have NEVER been teeated like this. Never again.

I have low expectations for a Motel 6. This accommodation is cheap and convenient, which is what you should expect when booking this location. The room I booked smelled of smoke and I had to deodorize it myself with a fabric refresher I keep in my car.

It was cancelled without notice and wasn’t treated very well. They gave us no options other than we were just going to have to look elsewhere….. I called Expedia there response wasn’t much better other than there was nothing available around the area. They offered us a room on Bradenton Beach or Anna Maria island ….DUH; they were abandoned areas with 15 to 20 foot surf expected….. We finally found a motel in Brandon with one open room that cost me alot more for the 3 nights. It was a big inconvenience way up there for us….. Thanks for a very disastrous experience…!!!

Mold beneath hvac wall unit w dry rot. Wall opens to the exterior. Mold beneath bed. Mold on the ceilings. The vinyl flooring felt slimey. The bathroom stunk. The internet service was choppy.

Hotels.com, You dont did it now!
This is not a Motel 6 issue. IHotls.com screwed up once again. Even after getting a confirmation that the reservation was set even with a confirmation number the hotel never got it. Forcing me to rebook on the motel website. We use Hotels.com for our business but this was the last straw. When I tried to call customer service I was promptly told that there was a 2 hour hold time. So at 2100hrs I wouldn't talk to someone till 2300hrs. Total BS. And to make it even worse, this was a non-refundable booking.. So a Motel 6 cost me nearly $200 for the night. In the end, I got a room off the company website and had a good shower and went to bed. Will book again just not on Hotels.com

Moldy Bathroom. Beside the obvious smell, the shower curtain had mold on it. No tissues, no shampoo, no glasses of any kind. Front door had visible gaps around it. However the front desk lady was very nice!

The Room didn't have any hanger or a hair Dryer. They said they would bring hanger the next day. They never came. They didn't clean my room. They said they never had a hair dryer. It wasn.t worth the price I paid.
