The price point of this motel doesn’t match what you get. The property and rooms are very dated. The toilet was shaky, there was plaster on the ceiling that needed fixing, something sticky was left on the table that I had to wipe down and I found a dead mosquito in the bath tub. Didn’t make for a very pleasurable stay.

My stay in Venice Fla.

It's not the Ritz, but it is comfortable. I asked for a quiet room and the hostess gave me a room that worked well. The couple running the motel: The woman is very pleasant, accommodating and smiling. Her husband... Well he could use a little polish. The place could use a little TLC, for instance the doors to the units are peeling and could use a paint job. Anyhow, the room was sufficiently large and mine looked out on a courtyard. All good.

all the chairs around the pool were broken and falling apart. The TV did not work. The chairs and tables outside were rusted and broken. The bathroom cabinet was all broken the back of the bathroom door with filthy dirty. The pillows were hard as a rock, and the bed was hard as a rock. it had a very horrible musty smell. in the bathroom, there was no place to put any of your belongings.

Location, cleanliness, beds and staff are great. The furniture, appliances and bathroom need updating. Fridge had no freezer door and door shelves missing. Thin towels and room doors locks stick.

It was an older property but well kept. The staff was extremely helpful. Very clean; updated daily. Quiet; great location to other restaurants. The Bistro was perfect for a morning breakfast. Would definitely rebook if in the area!

Road stop

Older infrastructure 1 level outside room entrance motel. Convenient to park in front of door. Renovated in room but overhead light did not work for me - there was 1 other lamp and hall light. Closet larger than usual. Bathroom small. Had enclosed courtyard with outside chair. Staff pleasant and food in attached restaurant very good. It was fine for 1 night on the room. More lighting would have made it better.
