A home away from home

The breakfast was very good and the room was clean comfortable and well appointed. I enjoyed this day very much. I was here for two days for business and I will continue to use this property as my homebase when in Sarasota.

Close to the airport but not worth the price

Airconditioner not working - either on arctic setting or completely off - those were the two choices. The water had to run for five-ten minutes to turn hot. Room not so clean. In the morning I went to check out and couldn't find anyone for fifteen minutes. Then the maintenance man came out and tried to check me out, but ciuldn't figure out how to send me a receipt. Then there was the search for the mysterious shuttle driver...

Staff were EXTREMELY rude except one person. Heat, TV and fan were not working in the room . A snarky comment by the front desk when I inquired about the discount at check out, that was offered by the staff member, who had come and checked the appliances earlier in my 3 day stay. I was told by the front desk "this is not a let's make a deal situation". Manager was even less helpful as he kept making excuses. He said there was no way to give me any credit, since I booked with Expedia.

Great Stay

Stayed at hotel for early flight next morning. Unable to do b-fast due to early flight nor use pool facilities. Hampton Inn met all of my needs. Additionally, free transport to airport-Mr Roni brought me too airport half hour prior to hotel shuttle start time

I was told we would get free parking while we were gone for 4 days, the hotel says we have to pay $10 a day. We are already paying over $300 for one night. It’s too expensive.

The room we stayed in was adjoined by another room so whatever was going on in there you can hear clearly in yours. The water pipes made loud noises in our suite and we had to change room after midnight because it was unbearable. We were put in a room half the size and was told it was an upgrade so no compensation was provided. They promised Hilton honors points since they couldn’t refund. None were provided.
