Very simple, basic and old.

Breakfast included was ok, but room quality is poor. I would give a maximum 2 star for this hotel. It is in a good location, nice neighbourhood.

Hotel is good for budget travellers. Breakfast is reasonable but nothing elaborate. Located in a very safe area. Few restaurants close by. Wifi is very good quiet unlike other hotels around wherein I have stayed in past.

There are better alternatives

Pros: location, price Cons: dirty rooms, unfriendly staff, parking lot space We're put in a room where the shower as leaking and the bathroom floor was all wet. Then, we were transferred to another room that later one we learned that had the same leaking problem. And the TV remote control didn't work.

Merak hotel not so good

The cold water was hot. In the web site it was mentioned parking is available. It seems they mean is available with 25 R per day.

Good location for that price

Good service, nice breakfast, friendly people, but the shower is quite all, the mattress is really soft that you can feel the springs, good location

Great stay

I stayed at this hotel for one night and received excellent service. I needed to scan important documents and although they don't have that facility in the hotel the staff went above and beyond to help. Nice complimentary breakfast in the morning. Overall, I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in one of the best neighbourhoods in São Paulo at a super affordable rate.

Horrível

No momento do check-in os funcionários do turno da noite foram muito mal educados não ajudando nem dando suporte, quando chegamos ao quarto a chave eletrônica para abrir a porta do quarta estava com defeito detalhe ficamos no 6 andar apartamento 63 e lá vai eu ligar pra recepção informando que nós não estávamos conseguindo entrar no quarto por que a chave eletrônica que eles forneceram não estava funcionando o funcionário disse que iria vir com a chave normal para abrir nisso nós ficamos lá em pé com um monte de mala esperando o que demorou por sinal, depois de toda a demora o funcionário chegou e pasmem com outra chave eletrônica sendo que eu já tinha avisado que a porta não estava abrindo com a chave eletrônica pois bem ele tentou e não abriu rsrsrs eu dou risada de nervoso pois gente se um hóspede sinaliza um problema o funcionário do hotel tem que ser o mais solícito em tentar resolver não ficar duvidando da pessoa, até por que por qual motivo uma pessoa falaria que não estava conseguindo entrar no quarto com a chave elétrica aí olha complicado, pois bem depois de ele ver que realmente não estava abrindo a porta com a chave eletrônica ele desceu de n vó até a recepção sendo que se ele fosse um pouco mais inteligente já teria trazido a chave normal ao invés de só a chave eletrônica e nós ficamos lá esperando igual bobos ai depois de mais uma demora absurda ele volta com a chave normal e abre a porta, olha complicado essas pessoas deveriam facilitar a vida dos hóspedes.

O local excelente ,atendimento excelente ,mas o quarto :espaço excelente ,porém o banheiro é o vaso muito apertado para mim que tenho uma altura 1,73 tive dificuldades..O cobertor não estava agradável o odor .. Café da manhã excelente ..
