I have been to the Garant on a number of occasions And always find the staff helpful. The hotel itself is located 100 yards from the beach and the bars, cafés and restaurants on Avenue Duarte. Understandably the hotel is an older facility as are most of the hotels in the area, Housekeeping does a fantastic job of cleaning the room on a daily basis, The water is hot and the air conditioner work well. I am planning another trip later this year and will definitely be using the Garant hotel.

The hotel is really clean, quiet, and safe. It is 3 blocks from the beach, but not in the middle of all the noise at the Calle Duarte, which is a good thing. The staff is friendly and they go out of their way to accomodate your needs. Breakfast is delicious and you have plenty of choices. Those are the reasons that I keep coming back. I have stayed there for 5 years now.
