Good central hotel couldwalk to alot of the things to see in santo domingo.Breakfast was good. People were verry friendly in area fresh squeezed sugar cane across the road.

The rooms were clean, the area is safe and close to major tourist attractions. The staff were somewhat helpful and polite. One subjections is that the rooms need to be updated. However, overall the property was fine for the price.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Excellent service from all members of the staff, beyond expectations. Had a safe and mini fridge with water bottles, as well as A/C and nice tv with cable service. Breakfast was included and was promptly served and very good with different options to choose from. The only issue and was not related to hotel was that they were constructing in the streets. But that was not in front of the hotel, but around all colonial zone. And I repeat was not controlled by the hotel management. We were treated like family and felt very welcome. Even recommended the hotel to our Uber drivers. If staying again in the area will definitely stay there. Thanks for everything Hotel Class Colonial!!!

This is a great hotel for a great price. It will be my "go to" for personal travel in the Colonial Zone from now on. Great friendly staff, stylish and spotless public spaces and a fantastic breakfast. There is not parking included, but there are couple pay lots a block away the staff will direct you to. We were able to find on-street parking nearby for free, though. This an older building with cool architecture but the reception area is on the second floor, so this might not be a good for someone who can't do a flight of stairs, but the staff is very willing to help with bags. It could be easy to miss, too, since it's just a door with a small sign on the street level, but our maps program took us right to the front door. Many of the rooms look over the Conde, Santo Domingo's pedestrian plaza and the balcony room gives you a birds-eye view of all the action. It's also half a block from Grande's Cafe, more commonly known as Paco's, a very authentic Dominican restaurant that's open 24/7. This place is a gem. We'll definitely be back.

Hotel Class Colonial was a 10/10. They were very accommodating. The front Desk staff were welcoming and friendly and very helpful regardless of the language barriers. Itā€™s right in the center of Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo. Would definitely stay here again.Definitely recommend.

I love this place when I am staying in the capital. Itā€™s perfect for me. Itā€™s meticulously clean and they attend to small details making their service excellent. I used to work for Four Seasons Chicago which is known for service, and I notice these guys are carefully striving for excellence in service. This hotel is not going to be for everyone. Like, if youā€™re a fancy, uptight snob, youā€™re not going to be satisfied here. Also, forget about it if you cannot climb stairs because it has a beautiful set of stairs inside its entrance that go up the lobby. Also, itā€™s not in the center of the heart of the main action by that pigeon park. Itā€™s down toward Parque Independencia. For me, I prefer a little distance from that area. This place has a classic, boutique feel, with Dominican style. Simple, beautiful, very clean, excellent service. I didnā€™t want to tell everyone about this place. The only reason Iā€™m writing this review is because Iā€™m so grateful for how kind and professional they treat me. Iā€™m writing this review after my second time staying there.

Friendly helpful staff

We had a very enjoyable stay here. The hotel was well located for exploring the Colonial Zone but the thing that stood out here were the staff who were friendly, helpful and took their time to talk with you and answer questions.
