This hotel is extremely old and needs repairs. Very limited selection of food, no taste or very salty. Please change your CHEF!!!! Dominican restaurant horrible ! From 10 pm to 2 am very loud, my walls was shaking. The beach OK.

Upon our late arrival, after four in the morning, I was told that my room was not available because the resort was overbooked. I was given a smaller room for myself, my nine year old, and 72 year old mother. I was instructed to speak with another staff member the following day, at 2:30 pm, so that we could be moved to another room. Additionally, said staff member Yoan, asked that I provide a substantial tip in order to receive an upgraded room. We waited for a family of four to be checked in before being taken to our room. We were not given information about restaurant locations, meal times, the coffee shop, or other amenities. The bed room was located on the 7th floor, reachable via a set of extremely narrow flight of stairs. The closet door was broken, the air conditioner barely worked, and the slanted ceiling provided enough space for one window. We all slept on the king sized bed. The next morning, while at the pool, I saw the family of four that was checked in after us. They were given an upgraded room. At 11:30, I went to the reception desk and asked about swapping rooms. When I recounted the instructions that I had been given, the staff member made a knowing sound and asked that I come back at 2:30. I returned to the reception desk and spoke with several people. A staff member made a few phone calls and met with an additional member in a separate room. After close to 20 minutes, a third staff member disclosed the number of our new room.

I had a great time at this property and the staff are always cleaning and they are very friendly. Just avoid the gift shop if you are American because they will over charge you! Other than that everything was great!

Hotel Coral Carbie Resort in the Dominican Republic provided us with a truly wonderful experience. From the bellhop, waitstaff, cooks, maintenance crew, housekeeping, and, of course, the bartenders. An extra special thank you to Yasmeira and Laura at the front desk who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Traveling with our two children, aged 6 and 11, we found the resort to be modest yet remarkably accommodating. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of perfect. Their friendly smiles and readiness to assist with any request made us feel right at home. The accommodations were also impressive, featuring spacious, well-decorated rooms that offered stunning views of the resort's landscape. Located about 30 minutes from the airport, the resort was worth the journey, granting us access to a private beach and lively local attractions. We spent our days enjoying the pools and the crystal-clear waters of the beach. While also enjoying their buffet lunches at the La Terraza or grilled snacks at the Ricon. In the evenings, we indulged in delicious meals at the hotel’s restaurants, where chefs skillfully crafted a variety of dishes using fresh, local ingredients. I submitted my complaint concerning the female manager. I paid for direct ocean view but I ended up with some view of ocean but not front of the ocean. Worst trip ever. I’m 70 I’ve been coming to this location for a 50th birthday gift. I love the hotel and a lot of the staff remembers me. I arrived at night and the room they took me to I couldn’t see the ocean so they had me wait to speak to the mean manager which treated me like I was trying to get something for nothing. I spend several days to talk to her, they kept telling me to come back tomorrow. I decided not to waste any more time on my vacation being rudely and hurtful miserable because treated badly. I mentioned it to some friends and they said she was not a good person. I went to her office and she yelled at me and told me to get out of her office. Said she was going to call security, because I took a picture of her ID. She harassed me every time she saw me. Never I my life have I felt so threaten and afraid. 2 weeks of hell. Girl behind the counter remembers me and she started the hold rearrange my room. I remember just hearing doors slamming. I was so uncomfortable and scared to death. As the guard because they came to my room and I was crying my head off. Check report if they made one. My sweet housekeeper was there as well. She hugged me trying to comfort me.
