A great safe place to rest for the night having driven from San Antonio enroute to Portland Oregon. Our Uhaul was safe and the place was across the street from a police station adding to our sense of security of the place. The hotel itself has been somewhat updated but still has some details that would definitely would have made it nicer. Pool and hottub were also closed for maintenance.

It was so good we extended our stay by three days. The room was very clean and comfortable, spacious. The hot tub was great, but the man cleans it at inconvenient hours in the morning so that there is no last dip before check out. The desk clerk is very helpful and personable and the whole staff is great. The breakfast is typical motel food but nothing to brag about. Convenient location and roses on the grounds are beautiful, a real highlight on the property.
