Unfortunately I feel like this Hilton should not be a 4-star hotel due to the fact that they do not have daily housekeeping. After 4 days of no cleaning the room, I asked, and they said that they only do it on request. I’m also annoyed with the $17 daily parking fee. It used to be free and now they are trying to squeeze every dollar from their guests. Another Hilton location that cares more about profit than their guests. Sad!

Very nice location for where we needed to be and close to Hwy 17 to get where you need to be in Santa Cruz proper. I love visiting nearby Henry Cowell State Park. The rooms are fairly quiet with decent views. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning. Good hotel if travel with kids.

Husband and I have stayed in this hotel maybe 6-7 times throughout the years. Beautiful, well maintained space and very kind workers! If we did have any complaints, one our own fault and another for corp. Our stay occurred weekend before Christmas and there were rowdy people loud, slamming doors in the hallways from about 7p-1:30a we could’ve called front desk but we didn’t… we went to sleep same time they quieted down @ 1:30a. 2nd complaint is, you DO now have to pay for parking! Why!? Nothing can be said to staff but WHY at upper management!

We loved that the property was on a hill so you can park all the way around the property. Which means you can park and enter on different levels. The pool area is a great spaces summer or winter with heated pool and spa. The thing that is not so great was the beds. The rooms are lovely and the beds hurt to sleep on. Not just my old body, but my kids hurt as well. The staff was helpful and kind.

Rooms were comfortable and people were nice. There is little reason to charge for parking at a rural location like this. And the system of using a QR code and logging in to a new app is very inconvenient. On the other hand, my clients and I own some Hilton stock, so i see why it is doing so well. And because we went through Expedia, the front office staff didn't add my Hilton Honors number so I didn't have easy access to wifi. Live and learn.
