The staff were good sadly they had to cover for the ineptitude of management. The room is spartan taking minimalism to the enth degree. No end tables or coffee table. We did ask for one. No dresser or drawers. The water in the sink just dribbled out and there was a sewage smell. This was corrected. No housekeeping unless you stay 3 days. The lounge closed, therefore no food. What kind of place are you running. Time for some hard and fast thinking.

Great place to stay. A perfect hotel to walk all around Solvang. Front desk staff was kind and caring. Room was clean and I loved the balcony. Undercover parking was a bonus and the shower was amazing

The area is convenient and the room spacious On a first day I Came down to the lounge for drink at 9 pm and the bartender call out sick suppose to close at 11 pm . Second day come down to try the meatball then the chef call out !! . No bell service and didn’t get the pool towel I ask on a second day .

The Vinland is a great hotel for a Solvang visit. The rooms need some updates , but the property is nice over all. Really nice lounge and lobby area! Would stay there again. I love that it was dog friendly!

The hotel is in a very nice location. The bar is very cute, but they need to build out the food service. The room was spacious but it needed a table to sit eat in the room. The vents should be dusted, black thick dust layer in room and bathroom.

Pros: Location is walkable, its at the start of the main street so you don't have to deal with any traffic. Parking is convenient. Bar onsite. Coffee at the reception including cold brew Cons: We got a late checkin after 6pm. After a long drive this wasn't a good experience. A/C sounded like a jet engine so had a hard time sleeping.

Parking is tight and the kitchen lounge was closed both nights we were there. Staff is great. Cleanliness of the bathroom is okay. It wasn’t thoroughly cleaned when we checked in and we checked in very late. Overall, the stay was okay. Great location to downtown Solvang. Easy walk to the street shops
