paid for 4 rooms, got 3 rooms

We booked and paid for 4 rooms, but when we arrived, they only had 3 rooms for us on that reservation they could not find the reservation, even though we had the printed receipt for paid in full 4 rooms from hotels.com they said they only see 3 rooms this seems to be a big problem when booking with hotels.com very hard to deal with.

Very Basic, but expensive

Booked a queen room and was given a double. Came in late and parking was difficult to find. The room was small and the bed was not very comfortable. The front office was extremely friendly and very helpful upon check-in. As we arrived there were multiple people just standing in the parking lot - one in particular was parked in front of our room, sitting in his car, and was there for hours. This was a very expensive one-night stay for very basic services.

Great value but so noisy!

You could not find a better value staying in the Santa Barbara area. However if you wonder why it’s cheaper than others (including another motel 6 in the same city), it is because this is literally right next to a highway (without sound barrier) and the window/room offer little sound protection. It was impossible to get a good nights sleep when you can literally hear every car pass by on the highway. I was even wearing ear plugs at 33 db rating and was still awoken constantly. I would not recommend unless you can sleep through it. Otherwise it was clean and budget friendly for a beach town resort.

The place is so noisy. The employee told us that she would give us a quieter room. It turned out the room faced the 101 highway. Even though we used earplugs, they could not block the noise, we could not sleep the whole night.

Yea...we get it...it's a motel 6...but still...so dirty. Not a good night's sleep. At all. Super super noisy. But that big black spider on our wall was kinda cool. Christine in the front office was cool too. But the place is filthy.
