Friendly, clean and fits the budget
Room was very nice. Very large and accommodating. Staff was very nice. The only problem we encountered was no towels were in the bathroom for our use. But they apologized and have us what we needed right away. The area had lots of restaurant to choose from. And the drive to Solvang was very straight, easy and under 30 minutes. I would have no problem booking a stay here again.

You really get what you pay for and I still think that is still too much. Very old run down motel. odd smell when entering room. would not recommend staying here. Spend the money on somewhere else.

The staff were great. Some of the guests were noisy... but thankfully it died down after 11pm. The hot water wasn't hot. And the microwave burnt my popcorn. But i was able to do my laundry for 2.50 and it was convenient and comfortable. I would stay here again.

This is an older Hotel that is in need of some TLC. The service was great, the rooms big, somewhat quiet and walking distance to shops and food. The room needed some touch up but everything worked. There was no usb or modern connection for phone and only a few available outlets. This was a good cheap place to stay and then go.

Pictures were deceiving:coffee bar was a joke!!
So the price was okay but for the quality of the room and amenities should have a $25 a night! 1 of the 2 beds was caved in the middle, the towel bar in the bathroom was loose and constantly fell, the water would puddle up during shower, the spout for the tub popped off if the pressure for shower was too much (even cut my daughters toe in the middle of her shower), the hot water facet rotated continuously and you had to find the sweet spot to make water turned off, no coffe machine in room which would have been fine if the advertised coffe/tea bar was actually more than sugar and machine with hot water and coffee (no choices of coffee or tea or creamers and very basic foam cups). No turn down service was given for frezh toqels not to mention for a 3 person stay they provided 2 regular size towels a d 1 of each wash cloth and hand towel, i had to go ask for more towels and only gave me 2. The desk chair was all ripped up and raggy looking and the desk drawer would slide open because of a broken rail. Definitely not even exposed outlets/usb outlets for charging more than 2 devices, there was even a reading lamp and chair but no outlet nearby to plug said lamp in!!
