Hummingbird Inn is a quaintly redone hotel with a charming lobby with a fireplace, and a pool area with extra cushiony chaises. Bed was comfortable and the room was sparsely, but tastefully appointed. We were there during pixie tangerine season and the lobby offered a lovely bowl of them to take from. There was staff cleaning the outdoor walkways and steps as well as the rooms and the properly is clearly well cared for. Would definitely stay there again!

An all around restful, welcoming place to stay. The pool was the perfect temperature for playing, with a lovely firepit to warm you while you dried off. The morning tea and coffee was set in a soothing, plant filled lobby. They staff were equally warm and welcoming - thank you!

Love the decor. Stylish and warm. Could feel thought and love put into all the elements available. So many birds singing around the property, smells of spring with pots of Jasmin along the balcony walkway, beautiful flowers punctuate the landscape. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot, coffee delicious and warm fire in the lobby to greet guests. And great lighting in the rooms was very appreciated!

Although the facilities are old, it is a simple, clean, elegant place where people are very friendly and genuine. Free coffee and pixie oranges are very tasty. The hair and body wash products are nice. Air conditioning is a bit too noisy. But the environment is neat, walkable to nice restaurants and downtown.

This hotel had a beautiful, minimalist vibe to it. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was quiet and very clean with VERY comfy beds and plenty of space to settle in. We utilized the pool area and outdoor fire pit, both of which were well attended to. We didn’t get a chance to use the bikes, but it seemed there were plenty available and it would be an easy ride to restaurants and shops. The only reasons that I gave 4 stars instead of 5 were that there wasn’t any food on premises, with the exception of high-end market snacks, and it’s not quite as family friendly as I hoped. The hotel is a great space for well-behaved kids, but the clientele will send a few glares your way at the pool and there were no options for including kids on the bikes. Overall, would highly recommend as a quiet retreat spot.

I had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel over the weekend, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! From the moment I checked in, the process was seamless and easy, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with an inviting atmosphere that really adds to its charm. The room was spotless, and I appreciated how well-kept everything was, from the common areas to my personal space. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. One of the highlights was the hotel’s proximity to downtown, which made exploring the area so convenient. I only wish I had more time to enjoy the private patio and the pool, both of which looked absolutely lovely and inviting. Nice Little Visit!

I enjoyed my stay! I came in late after a long drive from Santa Barbara and they had my room key waiting for me. I never did actually meet any staff from the hotel, which is unusual but not necessary. Close to everything, affordable, and clean. I would stay here again for sure.

Loved our stay, this place is so great and the staff is so nice and friendly. The only negative part is how thin the walls and windows are, if you are a light sleeper take some earplugs, you will need them.

This was one of the cutest hotels my wife and I have stayed at in a long time. It is close to everything in Ojai, and the staff is extremely personable, friendly, and welcoming! Looking forward to staying at the Hummingbird Inn again!
