This reasonably priced hotel provided all the services one would expect from a 1st class hotel: Easy booking, easy check-in/check-out, clean and comfortable rooms, quiet, very good housekeeping, professional and competent staff, and located in Santa Barbara for navigating the area. Only two quibbles: 1) No inhouse dining (but that is OK since there are plenty of areas to eat close by), and 2) The parking fee, like all hotels these days, is outrageous ($32/night).

Great area near the beach for daytime fun, and the Funk Zone for nighttime fun. Easy walk to State Street shops and restaurants. Nice hotel, though our wing was separate and across the street from the main hotel. Tried to use the jacuzzis (there are two), but they were both barely warm, which was super disappointing. Staff very helpful and friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay. Its a very good location and the staff is terrific staff (very helpful and sincerely nice). Room was large and we had a balcony that looked over the property and ocean. Nice spot to have a glass of wine before walking to dinner. Lots of excellent eating spots within a 10-20 minute walk.

Our new favorite vacation property. We'll be back!
We splurged a bit for this trip because it was a special anniversary, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The staff at check in and check out were friendly and knowledgeable. The room was spacious and even more beautiful than it appeared online. The property's proximity to shopping and restaurants made it the perfect home base to walk about town. The service was impeccable. The room was magically cleaned and ready for us each day when we returned, regardless of the timing. We loved the wood shutters and room décor. One of my favorite features was the air conditioning. It was practically silent. I'm a light sleeper, so that was a huge plus for me. It's so rare in hotels! We plan to return every year or maybe more. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay.

I booked this Inn because it was on the Main Street right across from the beach at 28 Cabrillo. When I checked in I found out I was staying in one of their properties that was NOT at this address/location, but instead at Mason & State street! I would never have paid the high rate if I had know I would not be on the main property that is essentially oceanfront. Room was nice but disappointing to be in a room at a separate location!

First time stay. Sometimes you hope that what you read and see online will meet expectations. HarborView exceeded those expectations. Quiet charming hotel rooms, great pool. We dont get to SB much, much Harbor View is at the top of our list even though we commonly stay at one of the largest national chains. We were 6 adults in total including two over age 80 who found the hotel convenient given their limiting walking abilities. We will return.
