Best Western lost it’s “best”
TV and clock needed fixing, shower spray hit the ceiling and over curtain with gusto getting our supplies wet. Asked for different room - upstairs or with patio. Was assured we had 1st floor with patio. Happily moved in to find TV didn’t work, chair was broken, and patio view was parked cars and freeway.

The air conditioning/ heater was noisy and it kept my husband awake all night. The hotel attendant was not very inviting nor greeted us with a simple hello. She straight away just asked for my last name and gave the keys. That’s it.

Very clean and excellent housekeeping for room and facility. Carpenteria has many Nice shops and local restaurants. Best Western has their own Sunset Grille restaurant on the 3rd floor with an adequate menu.
