The rooms were large and clean, had lots of storage space for luggage. They also had a little fridge, and coffee maker which was nice. The breakfast in the morning was good, and they had options for non-dairy milk when asked, however wish they had more fruit options (only oranges). The staff were really helpful and friendly with everyone. The pool looked small, but well maintained and they had towels on all of the lounge chairs (we didn't have a chance to use it but wish we had!). Would stay here again.

I was impressed with how quiet it was in our room. All staff, from front desk to housekeeping went out of their way to say hello, smile, accommodate requests. Our only issue was the lack of communication regarding our 3rd day cleaning. After a visit to the desk and a f/u phone call-our room still did not get cleaned. Fresh towels were promptly delivered after our complaint.

Avania Inn Santa Barbara is clean and beautifully decorated. Room was spacious and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent and the front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved the small shop space next to front desk. It had everything you need On the Go !!

The walls were thin and we could hear noises until late in the evening. The beds were also sloppily made, with the bedspread not even being fully tucked under. I was really underwhelmed given the price we paid! Convenient location by the beach though.

Nice hotel. Clean spacious room. Great water pressure in the shower. 3 blocks from the harbor and lots of restaurants nearby. Staff was super friendly and breakfast was good.

Convenient but in need of update
Only bathrooms have been updated. Rest of room and beds are tired and need updated. Noise level was a bit problematic but likely due to festival going on. Breakfast was very good and staff friendly. Motel is really what this is and is conveniently located to shopping, restaurants and bay. All are within easy walking distance
