I loved the variety, convenience, and beauty of the property. It really is breathtaking! Immaculately kept grounds, pools, and shoreline. There was a selection of different activities, ranging from aqua aerobics to a kid’s trivia show to a disco to bingo and everything in between. It’s family friendly as well as a great place for single adults and couples. As far as safety goes, there are cameras everywhere, well-lit paths, and lots of staff. The staff were all very helpful. We had an issue with our air conditioning unit when we checked in, and it took two different technicians to fix it for good, but they came and fixed it quickly both times. The food selection is wide and diverse, but the taste wasn’t as great as we’d hoped for. Still pretty decent for a buffet of that size (especially an all-inclusive one)! The piña coladas at the bar were delicious. We loved having everything included! Overall, we’d highly recommend the Decameron to anyone wanting an affordable, all-inclusive tropical vacation resort!

All the meals were buffet style. And it was extremely difficult to reserve anything at the their steak house. You had to be in like around 5am when it opened at 7 just to make reservations. The bathroom in the rooms had a piece of glass covering half of the shower which meant wet floors when you got out. The rooms were very basic. TV was ok. Internet sucked but that’s ok. Pools were nice and extremely warm which I enjoyed.

The food was terrible I was there from Monday to Wednesday and every day was the same food .. the food was not good, tge place is expensive for the type of buffet, and if you want to eat in the regular restaurant you need reservations and there's no space

This place was once a beautiful place but unfortunately now it appears all rundown. The rooms, the beds, the bathroom were worse than any place I have ever stayed. I was so disappointed. The food was ok and the service was subpar. We could not even get a reservation at their steakhouse and were forced to eat at their main buffet style restaurant. Horrible experience. We paid for three nights but decided to leave after two nights. Never again!!!
