A hotel that only looks good on the surface
I'll start with the good first. The suite room was super spacious and I've not seen a hotel in my past that gives their guest such space. The air-conditioning was perfect as it provided a comfort sleep. Here comes the bad stuff and there are many. Right from pulling over the car, the guests parking lot was too squeezy, the lots were compact size and leave very minimum room to backup without turning your wheels 10 times to ensure we dont hit the cars behind us. I was not told that guests are charged a $22 parking fee daily. Now regarding the stay, after a 7 hours drive when we reached hotel, during the check-in the staff who helped me abandoned me in the middle of it and started helping someone else without the courtesy to say "excuse me". Anyway, he said the room I ordered is not ready and has to be cleaned. If I dont want to wait I could get the 2 queen beds room versus the 1 king bed with sofa bed room that I ordered. As we were pretty badly soared up I went with the change, entered the room and got greeted with a very old smell reeking from the carpet. The 2 beds in the room were not queen but full. The amenities in the room were definitely 30 years old. Everything corner of the room was dirty with molds and stains. The carpet right outside our bathroom was leaking water and when we stepped on the carpet it was damp that immediately thrown my family off. We started to use slippers to enter the bathroom. The shower head was pathetic and took 30 mins versus 5 mins bath.

To start, trying to get into our room was very difficult and instead of fixing the issue the staff just indicates you have to move the handle up and down, what they don’t tell you is that you literally have to push with full force like you are breaking down the door just to get in while moving the handle. We get in to our room and it reeks of cigarette smoke. Our heating and air conditioner was literally stuck on cool and would not move from 67 degrees. My husband does heating and air for a living and could it figure it out. We even put it on heat and increased the temp, stayed stuck at 67. The bedroom tv would randomly come on without any touch of the remote. You had to press the down arrow numerous times and very hard just to try and get an elevator if it worked at all. I wound up pressing the up button just to get an elevator there to go down. None of the ice machines worked. The lines for breakfast were horrible and they demanded your food ticket despite the fact you had a room key and were clearly a guest. The road noise and freeway traffic were horrible as well on the side of the building we stayed at. We will not stay there again.

Not at all what we expected from embassy suites than had to pay for parking. Never did that before. Snacks for reception hour were not good , ordered from the menu, not g. Very tired hotel, gloomy dated room terrible balcony that we paid extra for. A complete waste. We're not happy from our experience.

We enjoyed the free breakfast. We did not enjoy trying to get into the property from Dyer Road, there is no marked turn lane, in fact opposing traffic has a left turn lane right before you turn into your driveway, so if you misjudge where you are one could end up in a head on collision. Next, we arrived a little before midnight on Saturday Sept 14th, the valet station was closed so we had to try to find a parking spot among emergency vehicles that were 20 deep, we had to circle your lot four times, thankfully a couple left, and we were able to take their space. Next the bathroom was in serious need of repair, the tub had black marks, and the bottom of the door was peeling and warped. When we were leaving Sunday morning for the day, I attempted to call Housekeeping, 7 times, 5 of those times no one answered the phone and it put me into an endless queue where no one every picked up the phone, the other two times someone in housekeeping picked up the phone and then immediately hung up. I stopped by the front desk on the way out to voice my concern regarding housekeeping, the front desk clerk apologized for my experience and assured me someone would clean the room for us while we were out. When we returned from a day at the beach, around 6pm we entered a dirty room, so much for staff keeping their word. There was a time when Embassy Suites was upscale property where one would be proud to pay extra money to stay, these days, you barley beat out Motel 6.

Room was pretty disgusting, got a txt when I checked in and sent them a video of me swiping the top of the cabinet and it was full of dirty. My room say it was a non smoking but smelled like it was bathed in tobacco. As I was walking in the lobby someone was bring a towel to the check in table with mold(super gross). If it wasn’t for the breakfast this would have got 1 star but the breakfast helped it a lot!

This property need either a major overhaul, or to be sold off. It is nowhere close to standards for an Embassy Suites. Furniture is old and in poor condition. Bathroom is moldy, old and in disrepair. Elevators didn't work well. The list goes on. Very dissappointed.

Unfortunately, I made the same mistake twice now coming back here. The first time was a year ago and the room needed renovations. Vents were dirty and the room smelled of mold. I booked again because I had forgotten. This time no AC was on, the vents were dirty, and the room was muggy. I had to open the windows to air out the room all night, and let fresh air in. They had no screens and a chain across, and window sills were filthy with dirt. Looking at the room was set at 55 degrees, which you could not change in the room, I did report every time they sent me a text "about my stay". Sorry to say this will be my last time staying, after reading similar reviews, you would think something would be done. Very outdated!

We’ve always had decent experiences at Embassies but this was our first time staying at this location and it was quite disappointing. We had two rooms for 3 nights. Room 1- the AC & refrigerator didn’t work. There were no remotes for any of the two TVs, the mattress had a brown stain on it, and our grandson’s feet turned black from walking on the carpet. Also the light bulb in the bathroom exploded and was smoking. Me and my daughter went to the desk a couple times for the issues and were blown off until my husband came down to express his concerns. The solution they offered us was that we could check out immediately but they would t help us book at another embassy. We were on a tight schedule and thought that was very unprofessional since they didn’t try to solve any of the issues we raised any other way. After some back and forth, they moved us to another room. This room was better but the towels smelled like mildew. Room 2- we also had no remotes, the coffee maker leaked water everywhere, the shower dripped constantly and our room phone didn’t work. I couldn’t call the front desk and had to call from my cell or go down to the front desk. I understand they aren’t maintenance folks. We travel a lot so we weren’t expecting a 5 star services, however embassy has always provided solid services and the response from the 3 different front desk clerks was quite disappointing considering the types of issues we raised. And there were other guests having similar experiences

We booked our stay for an anniversary but several issues made our experience far from enjoyable. First, the bed in our room was extremely squeaky, which was frustrating as we had encountered the same problem during our last stay. We requested a room change, but the 2nd room had an even squeakier bed. Though we chose to stay in the room, it only got worse. The carpet/couch were damp, as if recently cleaned which left the room smelling like mildew. This prevented us from using the second room entirely. On top of this, the phone in our room didn’t work even after checking the connection, forcing us to find another way to order room service. The following day, when we tried to order breakfast, we discovered we had not been given meal cards after switching rooms. At the breakfast area, my partner was treated rudely by staff behind the omelet bar and was shooed away, being told he couldn’t have an omelet. This was humiliating, especially after waiting in line for 30 minutes. The staff I interacted with was understanding and still made me an omelet, my partner was too embarrassed to stay. I went to the front desk to address this and spoke to an employee Michael, who did not offer any meaningful resolution. He made a comment that kitchen staff were “kind of crazy” and handed me meal cards w/out acknowledging the seriousness of our concerns. Stacy & Roman were very accommodating & helpful but the overall experience was far from acceptable. Stacy was kind to comp our incidentals.
