This property needs an update particularly in the bathroom area. Toilets are outdated. They need to be comfort height and elongated. There is paint chipping off walls. There was no luggage rack and the pillows do not keep shape.

This Quality Inn was very nice and a great deal. The staff was amazing and very accommodating of my special requests. The only reason I gave 4 stars is they could using plumbing work. The shower was slow draining so we were standing in inches of water.

I have already said it twice . An unbelievable musty odor in the room. Girl from the desk came down and said she could not smell it UNBELIEVABLE I've travelled for years and never had an experience as bad as this. at the time I had no recourse .

My boyfriend and I were planning a weekend getaway to Sandusky for Cedar Point's Halloweekends and we were trying to find something cheap and affordable but clean with a free breakfast. Then, I came across this hotel property and the great reviews it had on it, and the cheap nightly prices that were less than $90 per night. So, we decided to give it a try and I am sure glad we did because it was SUPER clean, easy to check in and out amiable, and hardworking staff, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast each morning was delicious and hot! I appreciated the lady who worked morning breakfast Friday and Saturday morning October 4th and 5th she did her job AMAZINGLY and kept on top of keeping things stocked despite the small crowd by the breakfast bar. She was also very kind to the guests making sure everyone had what they were looking for, that it was clean, and that everyone was fed. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the Quality Inn and Suites and this is going to be our go-to hotel from now on every year we come up to Sandusky!

Very nice hotel. They were kind enough to upgrade room to having 2 beds and pullout sofa/sleeper, no additional charge. I’ve stayed here twice now and I really like it here.

Area was clean, felt safe, & gas station was conveniently close. Room was very clean. I stayed in a King room - bed was average for this level of hotel, not great but for one night it was fine. Hotel is dated as expected from the pics, but fine for a short stay & a better value than most hotels around Sandusky. A caution: rooms100/101 @ end of the hall - there's a staff door that is constantly slamming shut (last I heard it before sleep was about 2am) so if you aren't a sound sleeper request other end of hallway. The one issue I had were the drapes. If you are on the first floor you are looking out at the parking lot. I was on the front side of the building so it was especially not-private. They have black out curtains but they don't have any sheers, just decorative one foot panels that don't move. S being where I was located meant I could only have the blackouts closed at all times and that's kinda depressing and feels boxed in. So if I were this hotel I would get different curtains that allow guests on the first floor to open their blackouts. Also with the curtains, the AC blew the blackouts so I had to put a pillow there to keep the curtains closed. See pics for curtain situation. One really big plus was that the pool opens at 6am. Very nice.
