Wouldn’t stay again

This is right across the 1 from beach access, the staff was friendly and the food in the restaraunt was decent. We stayed in 2 different rooms during our stay because we checked in and checked out then decided to stay in the area one more night. I would have rather find another place but my friend said go with the devil you know. The bedding was ok on the comfort scale. Rooms were quiet, we didn’t pay for a view and had a partial ocean view, the bedding had holes in it, the walls had holes in it from pictures that had been removed, one bathroom had a decent sized shower the other was so extremely small but both were moldy and gross, and several of the outlets in the rooms didn’t work. I would not recommend or stay here again.

There’s a restaurant, bar, and convenience store on the property. It’s also close to Cambria and very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay there again.

The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. The location is great. It has the ocean view and is only a few minutes to the beach. It is also a very short drive to the famous Hearst Castle.

Upgrade would make this a great hotel

The people were really kind and the food at the restaurant was really good. However, the hotel is older and did not feel very clean. Although it may have been clean it felt dirty. Hopefully, they do an upgrade to this location because the staff is awesome there.

This property is older and if you are looking for shiny, look elsewhere. But if you are looking for a quiet place by the beach that is comfortable and relaxing, this will work well. The exterior is well maintained and parking is plenteous. The interior is acceptable and other that a few stains in upholstery and carpet, things are clean. If passing that way again, I might return.
