Cambria Pine lodge is wonderful! The grounds, convenience to eatery and market all good . The staff at Cambria lodge from the front desk ( reservation) to the housekeeping were attentive . Very wonderful place to ease ones mind! WE loved our stay.!

Not the same as it used to be

I’ve stayed at the lodge several times and never had an issue until my stay on 05/16. There was popcorn under the cabinet, trash under the dresser and springs coming out of the mattress. I also went to the lounge a little after 9:00p with my 20 year old daughter and the waitress asked very loudly in front of a packed room if my daughter was 21. She said no and the waitress said “no one is allowed under 21 after 9:00p.” We were fine with the rule, but had just ordered drinks (my daughter a soda) and I told her we would leave in a few. Because of her tone and telling us in front of everyone, we were embarrassed. I informed the front desk at checkout of the issues, she took notes, asked for the room #, was unapologetic and just said “you’re checked out.” This is one of the more popular places in Cambria and after this experience, I won’t stay again.

I’ve stayed there before. Great location. Easy walk to downtown. Only two complaints. When I arrived, the staff told me just the week before they changed their breakfast policy and no longer provide complimentary breakfast to those who do not book directly through the hotel. It would be $20 extra. I had a fridge in the room and am not a big breakfast eater so opted to pass. The coffee set up in the bedroom is now an electric kettle and bags, which is fine. However, the coffee bags all had a sticky syrup substance on the outside that housekeeping must have overlooked. Looked like maple syrup. Gross. All of that being said, I’d still say it’s a fairly decent place to stay.
