Staff is amazing and the hotel is perfectly situated in the old town. The only problem is that your bathroom is down the hall.

This place was a perfect stay. Local walk to everything and the staff was excellent. I felt like I had a little apartment to myself. The only thing was the shower was tiny but that’s all the showers in Europe.

Very touristy area

Didn’t love the touristy area but also a few things about the room. Bed was terribly uncomfortable - and I like a firm bed. This was like a rock with a sheet. Had an interior room and the noise from the feet at head level was awful, even with window shut. Interior room was claustrophobic. Blinding light in hallways and baths the comes on automatically was disorienting. Two bathrooms have auto off light that stops mid shower. Positives are the lovely staff and overall ambiance. Feels nicer than it is. Shower is powerful and stays hot. Plenty of fresh sheets and towels.

Perfect location for Old Town

The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the Old Town. The Pensión is very clean and the staff helpful. The room is compact but excellent value considering the location.

Great stay in San Sebastián.

Great location and good value. Clean and nicely appointed. Martin who received us was a gem and helped us out with some logistical issues. Just make sure you get the address right. It can be a little hard to find.

The location in Old Town is fantastic. The marina and excellent pintxos bars and restaurants within metres. The best are within a one minute walk. Museums, churches, historic spots and La Concha Beach all within a five minute.walk. Very clean, fresh and friendly. Three bathrooms shared between eight rooms, so no waiting. I will definitely stay there next time.

Perfect location

Really nice pension, the staff are friendly, the rooms nice and the shared bathroom facilities modern and clean. It could use a little extra facility wise, maybe a little kitchenette or even just some cutlery/crockery to access.

Great place to stay, beware no parking

It was a very nice, very cozy (tight) room, newly updated. The location was fantastic as far as being in the middle of the historic area of San Sebastian, within walking distance of everything! However, since GPS was not aware of street closures in the historic district we did not know we could not drive up to hotel nor was there parking near the hotel. Staff was great, convenience was great. A little noisy due to location - early every morning recycle and garbage pickup and street cleaning daily. But that was o.k. knowing it is being kept clean in the area.

Recommended as a place to stay

This pension is great and the ladies who seem to run it are all very pleasant and very helpful. We had a late arrival which they willingly accommodated; and they kept our luggage for hours after we checked out. Just 2 items to be aware of: 1. The en suite is actually a section of the room so no privacy if you need it. 2. The room was advertised as having courtyard views. However, there was no view at all, in fact there was no window. These were of no concern to us and we had a very comfortable stay in this great city.

Right in the heart of everything! The room was decorated lovely and had everything we could want. Great restaurants and bars just steps away, and only a few minutes walk to the beach. Fantastic!!!
