After having stayed a few days in a resort on the south end of the island, we wanted to try a different experience here at the bungalows. The place is quaint, fairly worn but kept clean. Our bungalow had a partial view south from patio windows and deck/pool was shaded most of day; I would have picked the bungalow with windows facing north instead to be able to enjoy sunrise/sunset from room though I did not see the layout to confirm it would have been better. The location is good for being close to town and other interesting points to visit but it was quiet overall ( maybe this changes during busier seasons). We had minimal interaction with staff but Ray was very nice. The floor windows show a few fish at night (attracted to the green light underneath). The rooftop restaurant was closed due to renovations. Also, we had a hard finding the entry to the resort as map directions lead to a closed gate road. After asking around, we found the entry through another resort community. All these details and information would have been nice to have received in advance by email or some kind of welcome message.

Excellent Customer Service and a Memorable Experience Await Although I wasn’t able to stay at Lina Point Belize Overwater Resort due to unforeseen weather conditions, my experience with their customer service was nothing short of outstanding. David, the host, went above and beyond to ensure a seamless process. From the start, he provided clear and detailed instructions for my arrival, including arranging transportation from the airport to the resort. His attentiveness and willingness to assist made me feel confident and well-prepared for my trip. When I had to cancel due to the weather, David demonstrated exceptional kindness with compensation, even though he was under no obligation to do so. His understanding and professionalism truly reflect the high standard of service that Lina Point Resort provides. I am incredibly grateful for David’s support and am even more excited to plan a future trip to experience this beautiful overwater paradise. If their customer care is any indication of what’s to come, I know the stay will be nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend Lina Point Belize Overwater Resort to anyone seeking a combination of great hospitality and stunning accommodations!

Amazing Views
Amazing resort. Everyone working there was nice and helpful. Everything was clean. Comfortable. Beautiful views. Peaceful sleep. We stayed in the Marlin Overwater Cabin and it was perfect. Will make a return visit. Lina Point is in the perfect location. Not too close to the noise but not far. I do recommend renting a golf cart.

What made this resort so special was the staff. They were all so accommodating. Joshua was the master of all going on at Lena Point!! He went above and beyond as a bartender, waiter, concierge! He was always smiling and took pride in the resort. I will be back again! The food was absolutely spectacular! I have never tasted such flavor!

Such a unique experience. Over the water, quiet, peaceful. Far away from the noise and crowds in San Pedro town. I especially enjoyed watching the egrets next to the hotel and the pool was perfect. It is a bit of a ways out. A little too far to walk to town, but perfect for a bicycle ride. Contrary to what Expedia reports, there are no complimentary bikes available. There weren't even ones available to rent at the time we were there. So, plan on renting a golf cart when you go. It's a great place to unwind!

The property was very nice and the staff was great (David,Karen,Ray Ray the bartender were great housekeeping could have sid better with the cleaning and we got bit by little red bugs in the room bit overall we had fun and will return at a later date

We really enjoyed our stay at Lina Point. Overall the staff was fantastic. They arranged to pick us up and drop us off from our water taxi. This really made things simple. We enjoy walking and found a 30 minute walk gets you to most places and most of the walk is along the beach. Very enjoyable. My only complaint is the walls in the overwater cabanas in the hotel are very thin and you hear everything in the lobby and front desk. I would suggest staying in the rooms above to avoid the noise.The lady at the front desk seems a bit put out by being asked any questions but the rest of the staff is incredibly helpful and more than made up for it.

The staff was wonderful; Mr. David was so helpful and accommodating, Chef Lucky never disappointed, every dish we tried was delicious, and the greatest pleasure was Joshua behind the bar, what a gem!! He was so kind, attentive, and full of information about the Mayan culture and heritage. He even played cards with us while we weathered a tropical storm together. Can't wait to return!

David, Karen, and William were all great! The place is very clean. You will need a golf cart to get around because Lina is a little outside of the main part of town, but I loved the quiet after a long day of exploring and adventure! David even offered to take us to the airport in San Pedro to make sure we got there on time. Would definitely recommend and when I go back to San Pedro, I already know where I want to stay.
