An oasis of calm in the bustling small town. Very convenient to tourist attractions, especially the Instituto Allende, with its cafe, restaurant and magnificent setting, and to the Mercado Sano, the weekly organic market.

Retreat in the city

It was a wonderful place to relax in a garden setting just off the main street. Great food at the restaurant for breakfast/lunch. Friendly service. We were on the backside of the building and it was quiet with great view of plants and birds outside our window. Will return for sure.

CONSUMER BEWARE!

COMSUMER BEWARE: these guys raise the prices of the room upon checkout. They ripped me off for close to 300. I speak Spanish and they raised the hotel room price claiming “taxes”. This is a nice place and they always have to screw the gringos. I think that you are not advised to book this place. The old Mexican bate and switch. CONSUMER BEWARE! Fraudulent management

Weekend en San Miguel.

No bar service in the evening; a bit inconvenient. Well-located. We could readily walk to city center. Staff was fine but did not reach out. Restaurant staff was best.

This is a Jr Suite with no coffee maker, no convenience fridge, no ice (had to ask for delivery), no Kleenex (use toilet paper), Drinking tap water is not recommended and there were only 2 small bottles of water in the room. Morning coffee at the bottom of the staircase, self serve from an electric urn offered no cream or milk. Poor amenities for a suite! Room furnishings were spartan as well. Bed was plywood hard. Location was nice..

I love the patio it was unique ! Staff was great only down side were that the beds were hard as a rock . Also if they could add a small refrigerator and a coffe maker would be great since there was none . And the small cactus plants are dangerous for toddlers my baby got spiked all in her hand and was hard to take off . Maybe change plants or put them were they cant get to them . Other then that it was great

A great visit to San Miguel

A beautiful, quiet hotel. We walked everywhere because it was well located. We were able to find several vegan restaurants that were close and very good. In the morning they had both yoga and water aerobics classes.

Awesome location. 10 min walk to the historic center. The hotel is located along a busy/loud street but it’s far enough back that you don’t even notice. Tons of awesome food options nearby and a local convenience store as well. On site restaurant (service was kind of slow) but Saturday and Sunday they offer tasty buffet
