I did not expect much from the Vagabond Inn but sleeping in a toilet was well below what I expected. The toilets kept clogging and we on one night the toilet overflowed into a room my children were staying in. They were unable ti use the bathroom all night and the room smelled like a toilet. Even before that, the toilets were not cleaned and the floors were filthy. Even if all this does not disuade you from staying, bring your own pillow. Those were crap as well. I know its a cheap room but would even spend a single dollar to sleep in a sewer? I spent well more than a dollar to sleep in this septic tank.

Overall it was ok, except for being woken up multiple times due to extremely thin walls. One of the times I believe it was just the upstairs person taking a shower, which made a comically loud sound in my room. I had a noise machine on, but it was no match for the poorly built hotel. If you want a good night sleep go somewhere else.

It was fine until 1am . I asked for an upstairs room. Was not available. The upstairs room was rented to young, possibly students. They were having late night guests talking outside. They are still awake at 3 a.m.

Asked for a quiet room...in our mid 80s and don't sleep well. Above us were people who were walking around until midnight. Also, heater hard to work and no extra blankets. Should have called the office but I think it was closed.

Room was okay, but reeked of cigarette smoke and deodorizer to cover the smell. Somewhat noisy, but to be expected with a Motel. The main complaint was that there was no hot water, in the winter time! The front office did little to help besides offer the use of the reception bathroom. So ice-cold showers it was. Also the pipes rattle anytime anyone else is using water in the building so it sounded like a jackhammer was going off near by constantly.
