Perfectly comfy stay in San Luis Obispo

Clean, comfortable hotel, with friendly, helpful staff. The only slightly off notes are the 20 dollar resort fee - this is hardly a resort, and besides these types of fees that have to go or simply be reflected in the price of the room. And the Happy Hour had bottom of the barrel wine, but that's par for the course, even though this is is wine country and I did hold a glimmer of hope for better. Otherwise, free breakfast is quite good, location is fairly central if you don't mind walking a little, rooms are comfy and quiet. Overall this is a great choice for SLO.

Fantastic. I definitely recommend staying in this hotel. I cannot think of anything negative to say only positive. The room was large, very clean, reasonably priced, with a great breakfast and evening BBQ. It was also great to have the happy hours each evening sat by the fires.

AMAZING BREAKFAST!

The breakfast buffet was AMAZING. Waffle, bacon, sausage, egg all served on one plate?!?!?! With options of bagels, pastries, fruit, drinks galore. It was the best breakfast I've had ever. And the suite was HUGE. We couldn't believe we got a living room AND a bedroom! However ours was two full beds, which was great for two people, just be careful of that!

The property and pool area are beautifully landscaped with many sitting areas, fountains, a fireplace and pathways. The breakfast is hearty, and happy hour is well attended. If you prefer to sit inside, the lobby is comfortable and cozy with a large fireplace. The bar area also has seating, free beer, wine and soda during happy hour and tea and coffee throughout the daytime and evening. The rooms are remodeled and comfortable. The staff is professional and friendly. It’s always an enjoyable stay.
