The hotel in general was very nice and everything looked clean. The only reason why I gave it 3 stars in some categories is because they did not do our beds or clean our room or restroom, we stayed two nights. Upon arrival I also found candy wrappers on the floor by my bed.

I’m extremely picky, and this hotel was excellent. From check in to departure, it was such a pleasant experience. The room was spacious and quiet, and everything was perfect. The cell phone charging pad on the bedside table was a nice touch. I heard nothing but silence throughout the night, which gave me excellent sleep. The only improvement that I suggest, is to include a protein along with the eggs with the free breakfast. Other than that, there is nothing to complain about whatsoever. This hotel goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. No complaints whatsoever. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for picky people like me. I’ll be back.

Outstanding hotel and staff.
This hotel was above excellent. Lilia and staff were friendly helpful, just great people. The breakfast was very good. The dog, friendly heart was so appreciated, and i most definitely will recommend this hotel to as many people as I can. And if we have to stay in one again, I will stay here. If anything negative at all, I would say, the prices of your snacks in your little downstairs area our way way too expensive ..ridiculously

Just about everything was great. Hit breakfast with eggs, meat and potatoes was hot and tasty. Our only complaint is that despite the sign saying rooms would be done every other day ours was not completely done. The maid had put fresh towels and emptied the trash but didn’t make the beds. When we asked her why she says she had a time limit of 4 minutes per room and that was not enough time to make the bed. She says to complain to front desk which we did and our beds were eventually made. Just thought it weird that she would say that manager imposed a time limit on doing the rooms. Other than that glitch all was well.

The hotel is very clean for one that allows pet! I have a little dog and have stayed at many hotel which allows pet, I would say this Hampton at SLO cleanliness is closest to the Ritz Carlton! I also appreciate the flat fee per pet for 1 to 4 nights stay. I would stay here from now on whenever I visit SLO.
