Great location
Great location! Reserved an ocean view room a paid an up charge compared to others we were traveling with. They paid quite a bit less and received a much nicer room. So to get an equivalent room, we had to pay even more. Frustrating and not the most accommodating. Other than that, we really enjoyed the location and view.

We’ve been coming to Morro Bay for 20 years. This will be our new go-to spot. Nice rooms, nice staff, great location. So many other hotels/motels in the area are rundown and dumpy nowadays but the Blue Sail is maintaining a high standard.

Itvwas an amazing view from out 1st floor bay view. Was a quaint little town with amazing sights. Hotel was spacious but basic.

Our stay was okay. We've stayed here before, but it had been awhile. It's outdated and needs to have carpet redone and new mattresses. On top of the partiers next to us, and the bad mattress. It wasn't that great of a stay. You wld think with all the weed aroma next door that came into our room. That we wld knock out!

Inconvenience
The bottom floor stairs are hard to navigate if you are older or have a disability. There is no elevator no ramp.
