Last Saturday, I stayed at the Condado Plaza, as I remembered it fondly from a visit years ago. The hotel’s location is excellent, set in a prime area with a beautiful, nearly private beach. Unfortunately, this experience did not live up to my past expectations. Upon arrival, I found the service lacking. I had to wait at check-in while the concierge engaged in a prolonged conversation with another guest, which left me unattended for an unnecessarily long time. The room itself was a disappointment. It felt outdated, and the large window overlooking Ashford Avenue was visibly dirty. The bathroom design was both inconvenient and unhygienic, with the kitchenette and closet positioned within the bathroom space itself. The sliding doors meant to separate the bathroom from the bedroom left a two-inch gap when closed, compromising both privacy and functionality. The beach and pool areas had their issues as well. Many of the umbrellas were worn, with loose strips hanging from them. Additionally, a beach attendant spoke rudely to me when informing me that I was seated in an area not managed by the hotel. At the pool, there was only one server taking food and drink orders, but three attendants stationed by the entrance between the beach and pool area, which seemed like a misallocation of staff. Further inconveniences arose with one of the elevators being out of service throughout my stay. This created unnecessary delays, especially given the hotel’s size and guest traffic. To top it off

The hotel does show its age a little, but it’s a beautiful property the pools their own beach the ocean views it’s a beautiful place. The issues we ran into was elevators not working and they’re only being one to use. Also, I went to the lobby to make a phone call in the evening and it sounded like I was in a club. The music was loud throughout the entire lobby. There was not one quiet space to sit and make a phone call. I had to go outside to make a call because it was so loud. The bellhops were very nice and very helpful. I appreciated them. I wish I could’ve checked in earlier than what I did, but everything worked out. I would stay here again.

The hotel lobby is nice the staff was friendly once you get in the elevator and go up to the rooms the hotel is very old infested with roaches and ants the room floors was very slippery the bedding was wet and moist the curtains was falling apart the smell of the room was terrible I wouldn’t recommend this hotel the best thing in this hotel is the view of the ocean everything else is a no no DONT DO IT RUNNNNN !!!

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. The pools was lovely. The customer service was on point. Very professional and friendly. The beach is steps away. Everything was beautiful.
