We loved this place however, the SPA and gym could have been cleaner. The steam room had a funky smell. Other than that, we loved the pool, beach, views, staff and food. Definitely recommend.

So happy with our choice to stay at thr Royal Sonesta! Our double queen ocean view room was spacious enough for my family of 4, and the additional vanity outside the bathroom was perfect for my teen daughters to use. Loved moving between pool and beach so easily, always found a lounger, towels easily accessible, and so happy to have the ability to easily refill water bottles. The gym was really nice too, with an outdoor space overlooking the ocean that proved perfect for my daily yoga. Front desk staff were so kind and helpful. We chose this area for the beaches, but did spend a lot of money overall taking ubers to restaurants and into Old San Juan and Pinones as we didn't find much within walking distance. We definitely hope to get back and would stay again at the Royal Sonesta!

We had a wonderful stay at the Royal Sonesta. We stayed with our two young kids. The pool is great for families and the shape makes it never feel crowded and easy for adults to relax and kids to play without bothering each other. The beach access is wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful and helped us plan some excursions. Very family friendly. They gave my kids little buckets and shovels to play on the beach at check in and they always had kids menus and crayons when we ate. Rooms were clean and spacious. Bathrooms were updated. The rooms all have balconies, but I wish they were a little larger. You can stand on the balcony, but it is not large enough for any furniture or to sit on. Overall, we had a wonderful time and plan to return.

Great service! They are doing construction out side by the pool and beach which was loud at times. Rooms are very nice. Breakfast at the resort is expensive. Great job cleaning the room Concierge was very helpful with recommendations

The hotel was beautiful and very clean. We booked a ocean view room with two queen beds the room was a great size and the beds were really comfortable. I never find hotel beds comfortable so I was pleasantly surprised. The location of the hotel was excellent and it was so easy to walk right to the beach. The hotel staff were so nice and helpful. The only thing that wasn't excellent were the dining options at the hotel. We thought he food at the hotel was just basic but maybe thats b/c one of the restaurants was under going construction. It was easy enough to walk or get an uber to other restaurants.

Great place to stay

Love staying at the Sonesta. Right on the best beach in Puerto Rico, las Isla verde, it has a host of restaurants around it. Safe, comfortable, overall a solid property.
