My mom and I stayed here for a week and enjoyed the daily free breakfast buffet and the short walk to the beach. The staff were friendly. There was one staff, didn’t get his name but he was a younger guy at the front desk, name might be Jeremiah, who was super friendly and helpful. I had cut my foot at the beach and when we arrived back to the hotel he looked all around to find me first aid stuff and brought it to our room. One thing I do wish the hotel offered was more authentic Puerto Rican food besides the Avena and Tostones.

Great Location, a friendly staff, a nice bar , good food choices (at the bar and free breakfast) and a nice pool with views. The parking is not free, but your feel safe with the gate guard. We really enjoyed the new and "fresh" Fairfield Marriott in Luquillo!

This hotel is a favorite stop while visiting Puerto Rico since it is center to San Juan and Fajardo. This makes for easy driving to planned excursions in either direction. The beach is great and only a 7-10 minute walk. It’s super slick not having to worry about parking. The hotel provides beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas for the afternoon. The Kioskos next to the beach provide shopping and fun food. Definitely stop and see the lady in the pineapple food truck. She makes fresh smoothies or shakes using the pineapple as the cup for $15 and refills are only $7.

Really nice staff. Amazing location. Decent breakfast. Very clean hotel. Really pretty pool. I didn’t like the pillows and that’s pretty much my only complaint. We enjoyed our stay.

Good stay with extra fees

We had a nice stay at the Fairfield Inn. The hotel is well located across from the Luquillo beach and 10 min drive to the El Yunque rainforest. Also a short 30 min drive to the Ceiba ferry (for visits to Culebra and Vieques). Room was comfortable for the four of us and breakfast spread was good. They did charge us an extra guest fee for our daughters 13 and 14 ($25 per person per night). Also they have this weird $25 destination fee which gets credited for lunch/drinks at the bar only if used within certain hours. Also they give you quarters for a one time laundry use but you have to purchase the detergent. All in all a nice hotel but the extra fees were excessive.

Pillows were terrible with very little support. Breakfast was fair. Same packaged scrambled eggs that were luke warm. The $25 food credit from bar area was poor. Food choices were weak. The $17 daily parking fee was a joke. Your room key was your parking pass at the gate, but it rarely worked.. Nice grounds but I would not stay again
