I love the convenience of the property location. Loved the scenery. One thing i didnt like was i kept getting stopped to see my room key. If it is such a problem of people not having a reservation there and are still entering areas that they should not then the hotel should consider having hand bands given to room guests.

I loved the location of our room. The sand fleas were horrific for me. I can’t use off …. I’m covered with bites. My husband doesn’t have any. The staff was amazing and the choice of restaurants inside the hotel were great. I was able to spend my birthday with a private chef and staff @ Sushi By Bau!!!!! Best birthday ever 💕

Thus hotel has the most beautiful lobby, it makes you feel like you are in the glamorous era of the 20s, there are lots of activities at night and the staff is real nice. However, room are not in good condition. My bathroom had mold in the ceiling, my mom’s rooms bathroom also had problems with the shower door, my cousins also has problemas with the bathroom and the a/c was not working properly. Overall all the carpets in the property seemed a little dirty and the overall state of the property I don’t think it was up to part with the price of the room per night and all the extra charges. I have stayed here twice and I don’t plan on staying again. Like I said the party at night is a lot of fun but just not worthwhile in my opinion.

The staff was generally not very helpful or prompt. A number of times we asked for assistance, namely for an umbrella when it was pouring rain so we could walk to dinner from our room, and we never received a call back or the umbrella until we came to the front desk and asked. We walked our bags across the property to the front of the hotel with a member of the staff walking right behind us and never offered to help us.They double charged me for my final bill and the front desk told me “they couldn’t help and I would need to talk to accounting”.

My husband and I were part of a large group who traveled hours away to celebrate a close friend's milestone birthday. We were given a room on the third floor right by the elevators which was already a concern due to a prior experience. The day went fine; however, we were not able to sleep until 4sm due to the extremely loud noise from the hotel's nightclub. We asked to switch rooms that morning but received the 'we are fully occupied' excuse. The hotel was not because there hardly anyone at the hotel. We went back to check later in the afternoon and even spoke to the manager about our situation. He told us that he will do what he can and would call us that evening. We heard nothing so what happened that night? We were up until 5am once again to the loud thumping sound from the nightclub below. We addressed our frustration to another manager the next morning whereby she finally moved us to the 6th floor where it was 100000 times more peaceful. We loved the entertainment at the lobby the most but will not return to stay at the Fairmont ever again. Horrible experience and horrible staff!!!!! Stay away if you want any kind of relaxation or quietness!!!!!
