We were able to check in earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. However, our overall impression was ruined by the presence of cockroaches in the room. Maybe this is common in the Old Sun Juan, but if I had known about it beforehand, I would have chosen a different place

I only had one night to enjoy the the Hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful, the bartender was so friendly. The bathroom amenities were plentiful and the air conditioner was in great condition. Comfortable bed, towels and delicious coffee and water made the stay enjoyable. But, the highlight was taking a bath on the rooftop! There are gorgeous stone bathtubs; bring your favorite natural soap to soak. I had a view of the ocean and the muro at sunset. It is a beautiful hotel with great art! I wish I could have enjoyed the art more.

Amazing hospitality and the room was clean . It was right in the center of town and Marshall’s and good restaurants and bars were within a 5 minute walking distance. I would recommend staying here if you are visiting San Juan . I would definitely return again .

We chose this hotel because of the area. Very convenient to shopping and dining. The hotel is very old yet decorated beautifully. We will not stay at this property again, only because of the lack of amenities in the room. We stayed in room 2D North. The bathroom had no outlets. We cannot use the hairdryer or curling iron. We had to plug these tools in the bedroom outlet and try to look into the mirror from a 10 foot distance. So that was challenging. The bathroom was not stocked with anything. even though there were two of us staying on the reservation, there was one towel, one washcloth, and one hand towel stocked. We really enjoyed the hotel, but wish it would have convenient amenities inside the room, considering the price of the room.

Quick overnight trip/layover

Floors were dirty with sand and hair. But otherwise clean. Gross to get out of the shower onto dirt. Also floors were slippery like they had been waxed maybe? Air conditioner only worked when we first got there. Beautifully decorated hotel though.

Casa Blanca - a charming hotel.

Super charming hotel & room with an adorable balcony. Close to all restaurants and bars. We rarely eat at hotel restaurants, however, Casa Blanca serves a delicious breakfast. I highly recommend the 2 for $10 mimosas and the Eggs Benedict & Avocado toast with Egg.

Cool colorful boho vibe hotel. The room was pretty small which was okay but it wasn’t that clean. Rug seemed like it hadn’t been vacuumed and tissues were found under the bed. Our tv also didn’t work which was a bummer. Maintenance came to fix it and said it happens all the time in that room. Probably time to get a new one? Overall our stay was great we liked the location, price and the staff were very helpful and accommodating.
