Four active guests booked rooms for a 2 wk holiday. Location was convenient for access to the airport, local restaurants, & easy routes out of San Juan as we explored the island.
We were however disappointed in our rooms. It appeared there had been recent renovations, but the furnishing & amenities were of poor quality. Improvements could include drawers & cupboards that would properly open & close, the addition of more hooks & hangers on which to hang clothes, & replacing the bedframe which stuck out 6" on three side of the mattress, proving to be the cause of numerous shin bruises! An extra roll of TP in the bathroom, and better quality soap and shampoo would have been appreciated, as well as face cloths and hand lotion. Bar fridge & AC worked well, & lighting options were excellent.
The pool & assorted seating was quite fine, other than a sturdy railing should be installed at one entrance to the pool. I observed at least a half dozen guests whose hesitant entry and exit from the pool would have been made easier had a railing been present.
Staff were friendly and easy to find if needed.
The included breakfasts were very inconsistent. Boiled eggs & oranges were available one week, but not the next. Coffee availability & quality varied. Cutlery, sugar, & butter were often in short supply.
Music played in the common areas, often loud & repetitious in the afternoons & evenings. Rooms close to the bar & pool were affected by "quiet after 11" not being observed some nites.
