The breakfast was not good especially the eggs! The room was nice and spacious but I killed about 5 or 6 large black spiders! It was beautiful at night with all the lights on the trees! The young lady who checked us in was super nice as well as the room cleaners but the other front desk not so much.

It had a nice patio. Breakfast set up was disorganized. Workers forgot to put out ketchup, tabasco, salt and pepper. Made for bland eggs. Coffee pot had sign that said Decaf and it was regular coffee. Room had a moldy/musky smell. No air freshener. Only one cappuccino mini cup for 2 guests. I guess we were supposed to share. WAY overpriced weekend rate.

Very nice MOTEL

I was allowed to check in a little early, as it wasn't very full or busy. The Hacienda theme was nice, but it still conveyed a motel-like feel. The staff was efficient, not overly friendly, but I've had better quality breakfasts at some lesser-priced motels. Not sure I would pay their premium price again, as I would have just as good accommodations and service at a cheaper hotel in Gilroy.

I had a great stay here! Only thing I would say is that the walls are a little thin. We could hear the people next to us and in the courtyard but nothing to crazy. They have complimentary breakfast (which we didn’t make it to) and free wifi so always a plus!

Almost there

This is our third time staying here and we’ve been very happy with the value this hotel has to offer. It’s a restoration of an older place and it has been done masterfully. Beautiful grounds, heavy hardwood furnishings. But we were put off by two things. One, the light bulbs were not all functioning, one was flickering and unusable and one of the vanity lights not working at all, making for a very dim lighting. And the two bulbs that were working were different colors, which just makes it look cheap. Very simple fix-why wasn’t this done? Also, the towels are cheap, thin and scratchy. A place this nice should have soft and large bath towels. Breakfast wasn’t bad. Kind of typical American hotel breakfast.

This property was good and unique-looking, but can use some improvements. The area the property is quiet and close to their downtown. The room was clean, had a decent-sized fridge, the bed was comfortable (a big thing for us), and a simple breakfast (eggs, sausage, and rosemary potatoes as the hot items). They also had a few pastries, bread, a assortment of drinks, and bagels. Our complaints are the loud air conditioning, the broken keurig which leaked water everywhere, our late checkout not being relayed to housekeeping, one of our keys not being programmed, the front desk not knowing information about where our room was, and our keys not working by 9am (check out is at 11am).

The woman who checked us in was fantastic! The man who checked us out seemed to be a bit clueless. I wanted to rebook for our next festival and because he couldn’t find me in the system, he didn’t book my next stay. But the facility is spotless and a great option for San Juan.
