Sufficient for a short stay

this was fine for the one night we stayed here. Would not book it for a longer stay in the area. It's not the most convenient of locations and the noise insulation is lacking. We were awakened by people either leaving for a very early flight or people checking in, in the middle of the night. . . suitcases rolling down open air tile hallways, chatter, doors opening and closing, etc.

Unfortunately I would not stay at this hotel again. It needs some serious attention and the rooms need a complete refurbishment. Don’t think the bathrooms have been updated since 1969 (no joke). For the amount we paid, it is simply not worth it. At breakfast, my kids were rationed to one piece of pineapple and one piece of papaya each.

I would stay there again, no problem! The pool is a nice area to hang out and the restaurant connected to the hotel had pretty good food. I only stayed for one night, but it was perfect. My front desk person was able to help me with the airport shuttle and any other questions I have. I would definitely stay there again. It was only 10 minutes away from the airport. Also the breakfast was typical Costa Rican meal. Could not have been more pleased.

Fabulous staff…friendly & helpful! Shuttle from the airport worked out perfectly. Breakfast was good and dinner & drinks the night before in the attached restaurant were very good. However, if you’re looking for a great neighborhood to walk around in, this would probably not be your best option. That being said, it was a good place for us to stay before heading off for the rest of our vacation. I would do it again.

Very quaint place, with old and new items put together. The building, the walls, art etc are old, while the tv, bath etc are new. There's a dining area, but it was closed since we were late. The taxi drivers at the airport seem to know the place. One of them dropped us off. The room had good beds, we slept well enough for our long journey next day. They provided a drop back to airport as well. Overall it was a decent experience.

They charge per person not per room!!

Be careful when you book, they charge per person, not per room, so if you didn’t book the correct number they will charge you. I booked a two bed room for my travel partner and I and they charged us $15 because I accidentally only said it was for one person. Totally ridiculous. Beds where rock hard and I don’t know what they put in the pillows, all lumpy and hard

The staff was exceptionally supportive and helpful in helping me get my rental car. The receptionist also gave us good advice about traveling in Costa Rica. We were late for the breakfast and unfortunately there was no coffee to be had. But the rooms are equipped with coffee machines. The hotel is not 3 stars US standard, so be ready for a little downgrade but it’s perfectly pleasant, clean and safe.

Everything was good except for traffic noise location is very close to busy highway. We used the airport shuttle coming and going no issues. Food and drinks at adjoining restaurant were great.

The entire staff (front desk, dining service and shuttle drivers) were so nice and very helpful in helping us choose things to do while in the area. The rooms were very quiet-some road/airport noise but nothing that a background app can’t cure. The onsite restaurant is simply adorable and the food is quite good
