We booked 2 nights due to the location and low room cost. The valet fee and resort fee doubled our room rate which was a bit frustrating considering we were not provided with any resource for water (an element of a fee) - no reusable bottle or any other mechanism and so had to purchase a small bottle of water in the hotel shop for $5 or a somewhat larger bottle for $10.
The bed and pillows were not as comfortable as expected for a Marriott, sort of lumpy and flat and not very supportive.
The location is excellent. The view from the bar at night is worth the trip up. If you order a drink off menu specify which brand alcohol otherwise you will get top shelf and a much higher bill than expected.
The staff are all very efficient and most are quite friendly as well. The area is walkable and near public transport, a fairly ideal location for tourists. Excellent food options nearby or a quick uber to many others.
Despite some flaws I can recomend it for a short stay.

Love this property. Within walking distance to Yerba and Moscone, with tons of restaurants near by.

Concierge was attentive and helpful upon arrival, the valet parking is pricey but very convenient and safe. Room was very nice and clean.
