We tried to check on an hour early and we're told to come back in a hour which we did. The original room looked out at two dumpsters. I complained and asked for a new room was told it was sold out. After multiple attempts they finally gave us a new room. There was no one there.

Great location and a beautiful property. I was able to walk the wharf, Ghirardelli square and connect easily to the hop on bus tours to get around during my stay. Social hours were an unexpected surprise and a nice welcome.

Great little spot close to the water. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel did initially overcharge what was agreed on Expedia but eventually resolved it. Biggest negative is there is a really strong perfume smell being pumped in to the lobby which is overwhelming and made sitting in the lobby a bit uncomfortable

Amazing!
I was only looking for a place to stay a night before the cruise. Found this on Hotel.com because it is close to the cruise terminal. To my surprise, this hotel is amazing! 5 stars for everything!

I had cancelled the last night of my booking through Expedia, who he confirmed this. Upon arriving, I validated at checkin that I was staying 3 nights and not 4, that the last night had been cancelled. The lady at the front desk confirmed this. After checkout, the hotel did not send me an email receipt as they said they would. I later found out that they charged me for the last (confirmed cancelled) night in the booking. After spending about an hour on the phone with the reservations agent and the front desk, the issue is still not reserved. Extremely poor service.
