Stay at this hotel often - 15-20 times a year for work. I also stay at the Hilton on the other side of the lagoon. I travel with my dog. Much easier to access the outside here vs the Hilton and the onsite restaurant has good food. My only issue is that sometimes I get good hard pillows in a room and sometimes not. I did not sleep that well on my last stay - tried all the pillows

Funky mildew of wetcarpet smell . Toilet was clogged and hadnt even used it. Food debris right outside room tthat had not been attended to. Breakfast was good so washappy hour.

After checking in, the front desk employee told me the wrong room number walking back and forth to the front desk. I was charged for several nights when I only stayed one night. The AC is the room wasn’t blowing cool air.

The rooms and overall hotel are very tired and old. It was as clean as it could be but is in need of an uplift. There were limited or no amenities in the room or bath. The menu in the bar/restaurant is limited. The cost of parking is way out of line for the area.

I like the view of the Ocean. and to the Freeway. I like the parking is spacious. and the only that I don't like is there is no AC. they only have Fan and sometime were not comfortable living the veranda door open but that's the only way to cool down the room. They need to put AC.
