I recently stayed at CQ Hotel in San Francisco, and overall, it was a good experience. The location is convenient, and despite being in a busy area with through traffic, the hotel is surprisingly quiet. This made for a peaceful stay, which was much appreciated.
The hotel’s facilities are clean and well-maintained, which always makes a positive impression. However, the room we stayed in was extremely tiny. There were two of us, and it was a bit challenging to move around comfortably in the limited space. If you’re looking for a room with more space, you might want to look somewhere else.
One of the highlights was the breakfast. It was included with the stay, and the restaurant on the first floor was super convenient for grabbing a quick bite in the morning. It made things a lot easier, especially since we didn’t have to leave the hotel to start our day.
However, one downside was the lack of information on their website regarding parking. I had to do some research on my own to find out where to park. It would have been helpful if the hotel provided details about the nearest parking options on their site. After some searching, I found two parking garages: Embarcadero One at $37 per day and the Punchline building at $46 per day. While not overly expensive, it would’ve been nice to have this info readily available to avoid the extra hassle.
Overall, the CQ Hotel is a decent option at $150 each day with breakfast.
