The room was small. Bed comfortable. I like that I could walk in all directions in the neighborhood and find stores, restaurants, markets. We had construction noise early in the morning. Parking was a bit tricky but they do have it for an extra charge. It was a nice stay and I would visit again and recommend.

Unprofessional employee

It was going well, had everything we needed, but the last day while getting ready to check out in an hour, someone unlocked our door and opened it. No knock or anything, extremely unprofessional, most likely the residential manager.

Visited San Diego for a conference over the weekend, and needed an economical place to stay. Uptown Inn suited our needs perfectly for that. We were out of the room for most of the day and mainly needed it to sleep. Also used the shared kitchen which was clean as well. Given our needs, it was 5 stars.

Make sure to book the room that is on the other side of the building otherwise road noise will kill you.. Also no heaters in the room, you need to request one if you get cold, and those heaters make noise as well, if you are light sleeper like myself, good luck..
