My boyfriend and I took our pup Tucker to San Diego for a weekend after the holidays getaway and it did NOT disappoint! We had a spectacular trip and weekend and this resort is hands down one of the best I’ve been to in SD. We even got to rent water skis right out the doors of the hotel since it’s sitting directly against the harbor and we got to take those puppies way out it was an amazing experience. My pup tucker had a great time as well he was very comfortable and the staff was amazing! Literally everyone we interacted with on the property from jet ski rentals to dinner to check in was so helpful and kind leaving a very solid impression and we can’t wait to return!

The view was the best thing about this property. We stayed at the Bay tower. All of the amenities are at the Marina tower. They were out of bottled water, out of laundry detergent. The tub and sink were clogged and drained extremely slowly. Food was average but very expensive. Overall, I would definitely go back to the area, but not that hotel.

Excellent service from staff - especially appreciated the convenience of texting our needs. Definitely recommend the marina bldg, given the number of restaurants. Kids loved the heated pool and hot tub. Parking was an issue but understandable, given the holiday. Also very close to the SD attractions.

The bay tower and marina tower are 2 different buildings with very different views, and they do not make this very clear online. We booked there only because of location and did not realize the other tower was much further away from our destination. They should be 2 different hotels, hopefully this gets cleared up soon.

While our stay was okay it was not great. We were booked in the Bay Tower which is detached from the main hotel and has limited access to the amenities offered in the main tower unless you walk or take their shuttle over. The decor was dated but clean. The bathroom was very small and dated. Access to power near the bed is very limited on one aside and did not exist on the other. A problem for breathing machines or technology. The tower is quiet even though it’s busy. The restaurant was on and staff there were phenomenal. The hostess was the best! Parking is ridiculous. It’s expensive and the lot is small and hard to maneuver if you don’t have a tiny car. While the stay was ok, we would not be likely to return.

Awesome place to stay. Airport shuttle was perfect. No need to rent a car. Uber got us everywhere we needed to go. However if you do rent a car this property charges a steep daily rate to park your car. Restaurant on premises was ok but a few nearby restaurants provided really nice options. The hotel has golf carts that take you to and from other restaurants on the island. The staff and services provided were incredible. The proximity to the airport was somewhat noisy but manageable. We had a perfect stay. I highly recommend the Marina Tower. The Bay Tower is secluded and away from most of the amenities and hotel restaurants.
