This is our third time visiting gaslamp San Diego. Every time we have stayed at the Marriot and it’s been a great experience every time. Valet being very helpful check in was very easy. I just wish we had a mini fridge in the rooms and also the bathroom need a little maintenance. Other than that we will be back!

The room was very comfy, staff was nice. But I didn’t like the concierge lounge experience. Unfortunately their “clean” plates were dirty with residual food the whole stack of 15… their workers don’t look to confirm that they are clean. Now that’s really gross.

Reserved this place for the location knowing it’s in the middle of all the clubs, bars and restaurants, so noise was expected. Us girls returned to our room and enjoyed the room, surrounding “Karen’s” kept calling security due to the noise, us singing away. Requested to be moved if it was an issue since security stated they were giving us a warning and did not want to be put out after having some drinks. Fortunately they did move us and there was no issues.

The property had elevator renovations going on, which was not too big of a deal. The water pressure in the bathroom was an issue. I would have complained, but just there one night. There are several nice hotels in the area, that being said I most likely, will book somewhere else next time.

The Marriott Gaslamp Quarter was perfect - Right in the heart of the historic downtown district and just far away from the night scene that it is quiet at night. It’s in a very walkable area and has a gorgeous rooftop bar, as well!
