i did not like the parking at all, we parked in a parking structure aways from the hotel and the next day when we left the cost for the parking was $115.00 not good at all so disappointed in the parking. the room was decent.

Location is great. There were so many bars and restaurants around to choose from. The hotel is kept clean and safe. You need your room key to enter the building at night. Front desk staff were very quick and accommodating. Housekeeping staff appear more professional than in other hotels (where housekeeping staff look so bored or unhappy with what they do), they are quick to respond and they seem happy to give out service. The valet service is really just the best! They are very friendly, organized and accommodating so that leaving or getting your car is so easy and quick.

Out of 4 pillows on our bed, all of them were super uncomfortable. The pillows were high and hard and I couldn’t sleep well. I ended up with neck pain. I wish I could open the window, even slightly, but there was no way to get any fresh air. So we had to use the AC. Everything else was good.

Hotel stay

Over all stay is very nice and memorable. We enjoy our stay in this hotel. Very close to Gaslamp. Very nice and clean hotel. But the valet parking is not so good. We waited more than 30 mins for us to get our car. Its just a waste of our time. We understand that its a long weekend,lots of people but they should improve this matter. My friend who stays in the same hotel waited 1 hour for them to get their car. I hope the management can do something for this for the improvement of the business.

The valet fee is outrageously high, but considering the neighborhood with high homeless rate, it’s the safest thing to do. I was disappointed with the Gaslamp district. Too many homeless around making walking after dark not comfortable. Wasn’t impressed with the food choices in the area as well. The breakfast was great in the hotel. The hotel restaurant was too limited in choice for me.

The hotel is old and outdated. The door didn’t shut all the way had to always check it. The black out curtains didn’t cover the window all the way, didn’t need a night light. When my husband woke up getting out of bed he killed a black spider. I told them about all the issues when we checked out. They were very apologetic and nice about it. They waived the $65 parking fee. The hotel is overpriced and outdated. The best thing about the hotel is, close to Petco Park.

Great couples getaway location

We stayed for a couples getaway and we great. Everything was walking distance and the staff was wonderful. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast offered at this hotel.
