We stayed at a suite which was very spacious and clean. Hotel staff are very friendly. The hotel is very close to a lot of attractions, which are mostly around 10 minutes drive away. Only complaint is parking being very expensive and self-parking garage is a nightmare.

Lost of homeless butt was nice if you didn’t leave no food afer 9 pm No smoking area Pool small Garage to park was very crazy. Lots of people hit the wall going up could be very scary. If you have claustrophobic definitely wouldn’t like it.

Good- Housekeeping was very nice. It was easy to walk everywhere. The bathroom was very well thought-out. Fogfree mirror, magnifying make-up mirror, extra towel/clothes hooks. Nice size room. Bad-If you went in 2 directions after dark, the neighborhood looked iffy. Might not have been, but it looked it. The other directions seemed ok. Also, a bit of a way to a trolley stop.

The staff here was the best I have ever come across in any hotel anywhere. Parking, especially the valet, was expensive, but efficient and convenient. The Gaslamp District isn't what it once was, but I really liked the hotel, the room, and the people who work here!

Spacious & modern rooms ... but avoid hotel pkg

Staff was courteous and helpful, room was modern & spacious, bedding luxurious and kitchenette appreciated. My boys enjoyed the pool & hot tub and I the huge Christmas tree and other holiday decor. Only negative feedback: the $42 per night for parking garage seemed high ... wish I had done street parking esp after the harrowing drive up a narrow spiral ramp up 7 floors! (Parking garage is on the 11th floor.) I had such PTSD, I had to ask the hotel about getting a valet to drive my car back down. They had a process and liability form for doing so ... apparently, I wasn't the first person who had been freaked out. Wish the valet had told me about the nightmarish 7 floor entry spiral ... I asked him about parking options upon arrival -- which he accurately & patiently explained -- but never mentioned the nightmarish spiral ramp.
