The perfect hotel for a quick stay. It’s not a top tier hotel but it is clean and right in the middle of little Italy which has lots of Italian restaurants and coffee shops. If you’re looking for wonderful hotel amenities, this is not the one. Let me add, this is nothing like the gaslamp district downtown vibe with a variety of dinner and bar options if you’re looking to bar hop. Hence, the community little Italy with all the delicious Italian food and wine you will love. I believe this is an area for the older folks that will be asleep by 10pm hahaha.

Loved the location! Walkable to waterfront and Balboa park (if you like to walk). Fabulous to wake up to the market on Saturday morning. Loved the vibe and restaurants of Little Italy.

The hotel is situated on a lively block in Little Italy, making it a convenient stone’s throw from the beautiful restaurants and bars downstairs. With that in mind, the price you pay is for that convenience. The hotel itself is older evident by the state of our room which was cramped, lacked modern conveniences like a closet or mini fridge, had peeling wall paint and matted dusty carpet, and thin windows that let sound from the bustling street below in til late hours. It’s a very basic older hotel at a convenient location, which is fine, I just wish more reviews reflected its actual state instead of blanket “exceptional”.

Room was a bit on the smaller side, but it was very clean and the staff was extremely nice. Also, great location….there is a really cool street market that sets up outside a few days a week with really cool stuff. Also located near a lot of really good restaurants.

Staff was a little stand offish and offered very little in way of hospitality. But, one staffer did offer bottled water on the second night. The room was noisy at night from the street noise. The rooms don’t get cleaned unless you ask which we didn’t know, so we were there all weekend Friday to Sunday and never had the room cleaned. Location was centrally located and closed to everything.

Always a nice stay right on India St in Lil Italy walk to it all. Been here 5x past three years always a nice stay. Parking garage will not fit your trucks and 4x4 Jeeps have to park up the street in ACE over night parking and walk back.
