The area was very close 13-15 minutes from Seaworld, Balboa Park & Mission Beach & other sites. The only thing I didn't like was the bathroom was very very small & the room didn't have a microwave. Other than that the ladies did a very good job cleaning our room.

We had a nice quiet room ( as requested), clean, and pretty comfortable beds. The two restaurants attached to the hotel were also really good and reasonably priced. It was also only a 10-15 minute drive to the airport without all the noise of overhead airplanes. Nice pool which looked great for the families who were enjoying it on this hot summer day!

The hotel is actually pretty good, especially for a 2-star hotel. Room was clean. We used the jacuzzi. Waffle Spot was good. What i couldn't handle was how thin the walls/ ceiling were-too much noise just from people walking above us, A/C, freeway... so for that reason i probably won't stay again.

The hotel was very nice. Tiki theme with friendly staff. The retro style was cool. The rooms are comfortable. The beds were also comfortable. The pool area was very nice. I like that the large pool goes to 9 ft deep. They had pool noodles and a few inflatable rings to use. The hot tub was nice. The patio furniture was in great shape. There is a large outdoor seating area next to the pool. The cafe has excellent breakfast. We would definitely stay again.

I came to San Diego for a brief overnight trip. I booked here because of the price and reviews. Can I just say we loved staying here and decided we will definitely stay here when we come back. It’s a lil dated but most places in California are. That being said we loved it. It was clean, the staff was great, the restaurants were awesome. I can’t wait to be back.

This motel was like a trip back in time. To the 1950’s. Bed had steel springs (that squeaked), linoleum floors. Period fixtures. Not terrible, but not plush by any means. Area kind of sketchy, desk staff not very helpful once they saw I booked thru a “3rd Party”.
