Pros - I have booked a 3 nights stay to celebrate our honeymoon and they presented a beautiful plate of fruits to commemorate as a surprise. We appreciated it a lot. Cons - I have booked with breakfast included, but their system did not notify them properly before I mentioned it. They have to rely on my expedia invoice for proof which is not ideal. I have also paid a deposit on expedia prior to check-in, which they forgot to check and double-charged me on room deposit during my check-in (luckily they did refund me back 3 days later). Remember to check what amount they are charging before swiping your card during check-in. Overall, the hotel facility is fairly well-maintained with gym and heated pool available. The area nearby may have some unhygienic grounds due to homeless people but I would spare this from the hotel cons as this is really not their fault. For people not familiar with the California situation, please do think twice before booking accommodation in downtown area in general.

The room and view was amazing. Upon arrival,they were offering free wine in the restaurant. Then, they had a pool party the day of check out. Literally, your near the bars and lounges. I visited a popular club PARQ, literally around the corner. Near CVS which I think is 24hrs. The 992 Bus takes you directly to the Airport (I caught an UBER tho) Exceptional Customer Service and very welcoming. We stayed on the 19th floor. It was quiet, warm and cozy. Nice vibes all throughout the hotel.

Best hotel in the Gas Lamp district!
Everyone there was so accommodating and friendly. The property is located in a centralized location in the Gas Lamp district, so it’s very easy to walk to many of the popular restaurants. We went out for dinner but we ate breakfast at the restaurant there and it’s absolutely delicious. The highlight of the weekend was that we were lucky enough to catch the last summer party at the pool which was a lot of fun. The only unfortunate issue was during our last day, there was a plumbing problem and the water was shut off at the hotel. That was an unexpected inconvenience but the hotel gave us a parking comp for our entire stay there as a courtesy gift

Staff was amazing, room was clean and big for my husband and I. Short walk to San Diego Civic Theater and lots of dinning options nearby. The Cafe in the morning was great for coffee and a croissant as we waited for our car.

Chic urban getaway
This hotel is awesome. The location is fantastic. The room was a little small but comfortable, clean and rad decor. While parking is valet only, they make it super easy in a bustling area where parking can be difficult. I would absolutely love to staycation here again!

The hotel itself and especially the hotel staff at check-in were lovely! They made us feel welcome and greeted us with a bottle of wine. They were super helpful with parking too.
